A non-refundable deposit of $180.00 secures your booking with Gloriette String Quartet which can be made via direct deposit, cheque or money order. Please refer to the bank details listed below.

You will be notified of your balance within two days of receipt of deposit. Payment options are as follows:
Cash payments: Payable on day of event prior to performance.

Cheque: made payable to 'Gloriette String Quartet' posted at least 10 working days prior to the date of the event.
Money Order: made payable to 'Gloriette String Quartet' posted at least 5 working days prior to the date of the event.
Credit Card: If using this option, please call Maria on 0425 218 684 with your card details. A credit card authorisation form can also be emailed to you as another option. Contact Maria for the total cost before sending the form. This form can be faxed or mailed to Gloriette String Quartet. Details are provided on the form. Please note the following surcharges apply. VISA and MasterCard 2.5%. Gloriette String Quartet is part of the Deltafire Investment Group; hence payment on your credit card statement will show as 'Deltafire Investments'
Charges may apply for late or outstanding payments unless otherwise arranged with a Gloriette String Quartet representative. In the case of your event exceeding the time of booking, additional fees will be charged in half hour increments of $200. This will need to be paid within 5 working days following the date of the event. Additional fees will also apply for overdue payments and cheques not clearing.

Although Gloriette String Quartet services the Sydney metropolitan area, there may be a need to charge travel fees, depending on the location of your venue. This can be negotiated and agreed upon at the time of booking.

cancellation policy
The deposit is non-refundable. We require 5 days notice of cancellations and/or changes, and a full refund (less deposit) will be issued. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the agreed booking date will be issued with a 50% refund. If a cancellation occurs on the day of your event, payment will still need to be made in full.

performance
Gloriette String Quartet will arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled time, to set up the performance space.
Gloriette String Quartet is comprised of Sydney Conservatorium graduates. In a situation where a member(s) cannot perform at your event, we will provide alternative quality musicians with equal experience and talent to fulfil their role.
Our dress code consists of all black.
If you require Gloriette String Quartet to perform both at your wedding ceremony and reception, the time in between should be factored into your overall booking.

Gloriette String Quartet requests that the client arrange for the following, otherwise the quality of the performance cannot be guaranteed.
We normally do not require our instruments to be amplified, however, if there are a large number of guests (120+) at your venue, then we are happy to use amplification which you must supply. We recommend 'Small Systems PA Hire' www.sspa.com.au. They can be contacted on 9584 9999, or emailed at: info@sspa.com.au.

If your time and venue details change after you have made your booking, we will inform you if we can accomodate your amended time pending on other prior commitments or bookings that we may have.
All repertoire selection(s) need to be finalised 7 days prior to your event.
In case your event exceeds the booking time, it may not be possible to continue performing if it interferes with other bookings and commitments. You will be notified of any other engagements that we may have on the same day as your event beforehand, should this be the case.
If you have a special request and the piece(s) require to be arranged for string quartet, these can be arranged for a fee. Fees can be discussed upon booking.

Gloriette String Quartet requests that the client arrange for the following, otherwise the quality of the performance cannot be guaranteed.
- 4 armless chairs
- An area of approximately 2m by 3m for performing and with sufficient light to read music
- For outdoor events, performers need to be located in an area away from direct sunlight and rain. If there is no shelter at the location of your event we advise if appropriate, a wet weather plan in the event of inclement weather. We cannot continue to perform if it starts to drizzle or rain, due to the damage this causes to the instruments. Shade is also imperative for our instruments. Shade from trees is appropriate providing there is adequate shade. If there are no trees to provide shade, alternative shade arrangements must be provided for the protection of our instruments. Please be advised that if there are no shaded provisions, this may interfere with our performance and damage our instruments.
- If your wet weather arrangement involves re-locating to another venue at a different time from your original booked time, this is classified as a second booking and fees apply. If the amended time is within a half hour difference from your original time, there is no extra fee.
- In the event that there is wet weather, we need to be advised as soon as possible about your alternate arrangements. This can be done by contacting Maria on 0425 218 684.
